In detail

What each of those
means in practice

01

45+ years in business

Fabricating carbon steel in Pottsville, Pennsylvania since 1980. An established manufacturing history, not a start-up shop.

02

50,000+ sq. ft. facility

Storage, production, welding, assembly, staging and loading, all under one roof and all under our own control.

03

Capacity available

Walco is actively accepting new fabrication projects. When you need a shop that can start, that matters more than a brochure.

04

Fast, competitive quoting

RFQs are reviewed daily by people who know the floor, so the number reflects how the part will actually be built.

05

Direct communication

You talk to estimating and to the shop. No account-management layer between your drawing and the weld.

06

P.E. / engineering support

In-house engineering support, including P.E. support, for fabrication planning, drawing interpretation and project coordination.

07

One-off through production

A single fabricated assembly or a recurring monthly run: the same shop, the same people, the same standard.

08

Nationwide shipping

High-capacity loading docks and staging areas, shipping from a single Northeast location to customers across the country.

09

Fabrication-only packages

We build and ship; your crew, GC or erector installs. A clean scope line that keeps your project simple.

The real test

The fiftieth part
matching the first.

For OEM and production customers, quality is not a certificate in a binder. It is fixtures and jigs, defined weld sequences, in-process dimensional checks, and the same welders running the same program. For structural and miscellaneous steel it is fit-up: holes where the drawing says, connections that land, and members that go together on site without a torch.

Qualify us
properly

Procurement teams should not have to email a shop to find out whether it can do the work. Our qualifications page lays out welding qualifications, quality documentation and the standards we fabricate to, stated factually, with nothing claimed that is not current.
