What should I send with an RFQ?
Send Walco Fabricating drawings (PDF or DWG), specifications, 3D models (STEP or IGES), and a bill of materials if you have one. Quantity and required delivery date help us price accurately the first time.
What file types can I upload?
Walco's RFQ form accepts PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, SLDPRT, XLSX, DOCX, ZIP and common image formats. If your package is large, zip it or email a share link to [email protected].
How long does a quote take?
Walco reviews RFQs daily. Simple parts are typically quoted quickly; larger structural or multi-assembly packages take longer because they are estimated properly rather than guessed. If a date is driving you, say so in the form and we will work to it.
Do I need finished drawings to get a quote?
No. Send Walco what you have. If a design is still in progress, our in-house engineering support, including P.E. support, can help with fabrication planning and drawing interpretation before you finalise.
Is my drawing package kept confidential?
Yes. Walco treats customer drawings, specifications and models as confidential and uses them only to prepare your quote. We are happy to sign an NDA before you send anything.
