Walco's carbon steel fabrication capabilities support a broad range of industrial, manufacturing, construction and infrastructure applications.

How to read this page. Where Walco has a long, verifiable project history, the card is marked Proven. Where Walco has the equipment, capacity and process to do the work but is entering the market, it is marked Equipped to support. We would rather be straight with you at RFQ stage than oversell and miss.

Application fit

Not sure whether
your part is a fit?

The honest test is simple: if it is carbon steel, it is cut, punched, formed, welded or assembled, and it fits under a 7.5-ton crane in a 50,000+ sq. ft. building, it is worth sending to us.

Send the drawing and we will tell you whether we are the right shop, and if we are not, we will say so.

Industries FAQ

Industry &
application questions

Which industries does Walco Fabricating serve?

Walco serves industrial and commercial construction, OEM and general manufacturing, material handling and bulk processing, heavy equipment and machinery, power and utility infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation and trucking, warehousing and distribution, and government and public infrastructure.

Does Walco have experience in my specific market?

Walco's deepest history is in OEM and general manufacturing, industrial fabrication and material handling. For newer target markets we describe what we are equipped to support rather than implying a long project history, and we will tell you plainly which category your project falls into.

Can Walco supply steel for a project if we handle erection?

Yes. Walco regularly acts as a fabrication-only partner: we fabricate, finish and ship, and your crew, general contractor or steel erector installs.

Does Walco ship outside Pennsylvania?

Yes. Walco ships nationwide from Pottsville, Pennsylvania and has delivered finished steel products to OEM and industrial customers throughout the Northeast and across the country.
